Cooking Thanksgiving Dinner Can Be a Little Easier (and More Fun!) with Alexa
Alexa on your Echo Show is a great way to find & follow recipes
To get started finding a recipe, say “Alexa, find me a recipe for mashed potatoes” (insert dish of your choice). Alexa will show a few recipe options on your Echo Show, and if you want to see more you can either scroll left or say “Alexa, next.” When you find a recipe that looks good, tap into it or say “Alexa, more information on 1” (where 1 corresponds to number next to the recipe you want details for). Found a winner? Just say “Alexa, start recipe” to get cooking (or to see the recipe steps before committing). Alexa breaks each recipe step down, dictating and displaying helpful text and images along with the list of ingredients. Whether you’re bringing a side dish or prepping the whole meal, following recipes via Alexa on your Echo Show is super easy and fun!
Pro Tip: Alexa Food Network Kitchen is here! Amazon and the Food Network have partnered to bring you exclusive live and on-demand cooking classes right on your Echo Show. That means you’ll be able to cook along with celebrity chefs like Bobby Flay in your very own kitchen. Just say “Alexa, open Food Network Kitchen” and follow the prompts to link your account to get started. Talk about a perfect pairing 🙂
Don’t have an Echo Show yet? The brand new Echo Show 8 and compact Echo Show 5 are already on sale for Black Friday!
